ABOUT WAYNE TAYLOR
Wayne Taylor is a long-time cannabis law reform activist and founding member of the Legalise Cannabis Party in Victoria.
For more than a decade, he has worked tirelessly to raise awareness, connect with regional communities and push for a fairer, more sensible approach to cannabis laws.
Wayne’s commitment to reform is deeply personal. Having experienced mental health challenges and struggled with alcohol dependence, he understands the importance of compassionate, evidence-based drug policies and access to safer choices.
Having stood for the Legalise Cannabis Party at state and federal elections, Wayne continues to champion adult-use cannabis legalisation, fairer drug-driving laws for medicinal cannabis patients, and the removal of past non-violent cannabis convictions.
He is also passionate about growing Victoria’s industrial hemp industry to create regional jobs and support more sustainable farming and construction.
For Wayne, cannabis law reform is about people, fairness and creating positive change for communities across Victoria.
