I never expected cannabis to become such an important part of my life.
I had never used alcohol, illicit drugs or even standard medicines. Then, while living in the UK, I discovered CBD oil in an ordinary pharmacy and began using it to manage a condition that caused chronic pain, stiffness and sensory overload.
The results were profound. That experience opened my eyes to the potential of cannabis and the gap between what the science tells us and how our laws treat this plant.
I want to help build a future where people can access cannabis without unnecessary stigma, criminalisation or barriers, and where policy is guided by evidence rather than outdated assumptions.
