My journey into cannabis science began after living in Ecuador, where I saw firsthand the potential of medicinal plants. When I returned to Australia, I wanted to better understand the science behind what I had experienced.
That journey led me to become the first PhD graduate of La Trobe University’s ARC Research Hub for Medicinal Agriculture, specialising in medicinal cannabis.
Now I’m taking that knowledge into politics as the Legalise Cannabis Victoria candidate for North-Eastern Metropolitan.
I want to see evidence, science and common sense at the heart of cannabis policy, including a properly regulated adult-use market that creates jobs, generates revenue and stops treating ordinary Victorians like criminals.
